Hey #CurlFriends ! I want to share a few things. Some of you may feel a bit overwhelmed with all the #hairproducts flying across your IG feed. Don't! Just breathe🚨. First & foremost, you need to address the condition of your hair before you go crazy buying a ton of hair products. If you truly want your naturally curly hair to be in its full glory, then you're going to have to put the flat iron away for a bit & let your hair do its natural thing. Haircuts are probably in order as well but that all depends, again, on the condition of your hair & it also depends on how much you want to cut. Some do a #bigchop whereas others cut their hair gradually (every couple of months or so until all the damaged hair is gone). Do what works for you & NOT what everyone else is doing. It's easy to get caught up in the #curlmovement & catch #curlfever & to want to do exactly what everyone else is doing. However, the reality is that no one really knows you like you do. By all means ask for advice & ask questions. If one person doesn't have the answer, trust & believe that they know someone who does & will direct you to him/her. Remember that ultimately the journey is yours & yours only. You're the one who decides where you want to go & how you want to get there. Be patient in your journey, have fun, ask for guidance when needed, and "do you" as only you can. You have a sea of hair products to choose from. Do your homework & take baby steps 👣. You're going to be just fine 👍. Thank you ! *bows to the left, bows to the right and bows center stage* Enjoy the rest of your Friday evening & have a great weekend! Long live #curls, #coils, #kinks, #waves, &#fros!
